Frequently Asked Questions
1. What size should I order for my child?
We recommend checking our Size Guide before purchasing. Our swimwear is true to size, but if you're between sizes, we suggest sizing up for longer wear.
2. What is your return and exchange policy?
We accept returns and exchanges for Australian Orders within 30 days of purchase for items in original, unworn condition with hygiene stickers attached. For New Zealand orders, we only accept returns. For full details, please see our Return & Exchange Policy.
3. How long will it take to receive my order?
Orders are typically dispatched within 1–2 business days. Standard shipping within Australia takes 2–6 business days. Express options are available at checkout and we aim to get these posted same day (Monday-Friday). Standard shipping to New Zealand takes 4-7 business days. Please note that delivery times are estimates only and may vary due to customs processing or carrier delays.
4. Do you ship internationally?
Yes! We currently ship to New Zealand, and plan on offering more international shipping soon. Watch this space!
5. Are your swimsuits chlorine-resistant?
Yes! Our swimwear is made with high-quality, chlorine-resistant fabric designed to last through many swims.
6. How do I care for my Vizzies Swim pieces?
To keep your Vizzies looking bright and lasting longer, we recommend rinsing your swimwear in fresh water immediately after every use - especially after swimming in chlorinated pools. Neon fabrics are amazing for visibility, but they do need a little extra love. Cold machine wash only, using mild detergent, and always dry in the shade. Please don’t tumble dry, iron or dry clean, as heat and harsh processes can damage the fabric and affect colour vibrancy.
7. Can I change or cancel my order after placing it?
If your order hasn’t shipped yet, we may be able to help. Please email us at hello@vizziesswim.com.au as soon as possible.
8. What if I receive a faulty item?
We’re so sorry! Please email us with your order number and a photo of the fault. We’ll arrange a replacement or refund, and cover all postage costs. Our email is hello@vizziesswim.com.au
9. Do you sell gift cards?
Yes! Vizzies Swim gift cards are available in a range of values and can be purchased here.
10. What is your swimwear made from?
Our swimwear is made from a Polyester/Spandex blend. All of our swimwear, hats, towels and wet bags are made from OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified fabrics. OEKO-TEX is a globally recognised certification system for textiles. Products that carry the OEKO-TEX label have been tested and certified to be free from harmful substances. 11. How do I care for my towels?
Our towels are designed for everyday beach days and easy care. We recommend a gentle machine wash at 30°C with similar colours. Do not bleach, dry clean, iron or tumble dry, as this can affect the softness and performance of the fabric. Line dry where possible to keep your towel feeling its best. 12. How do I remove sand from my swimwear?
Sand happens - it’s part of a full day at the beach! Our swimwear is made from high-quality, smooth fabrics that don’t trap sand in the weave. That said, sitting, rolling, or playing in sand can mean a few grains get caught, especially in the lining of bottoms or shorts.
To remove sand:
- Rinse as much as you can under cold water.
- Let the swimwear dry completely.
- Turn it inside out and shake gently.
- Gently stretch the fabric slightly and shake again, this will help loosen the grains.
- If needed, use a hair dryer on a cool setting to blow out any remaining grains.
